Specialising in progressive and alternative rock performance, Alex has extensive history recording and performing in pop, reggae, swing, punk, and blues styles.

Alex's focus in education is to provide his students with an understanding of technique, style, and context, in order to facilitate the intentional delivery of each drummer’s ideas, while promoting a love of music beyond just a love of drumming.

Alex is currently teaching in Sydney (Northern Beaches, Ryde, Inner West, Eastern Suburbs), Wollongong (by appointment), and Kiama (Epics Music).
